SS BTC – Screen Ink For Battery Containers

This ink used for functional screen printing adds further value and visibility to the printed materials with special functionality. It specially designed for battery container.

PRODUCT RESISTANCE
Toyo Ink SS BTC is an screen ink with excellent adhesion to untreated and pretreated polypropylene and polyethylene sheets and injection mouldings. It provide excellent resistance to battery acid.

DISPLAY APPEAL
Dry to give smooth dense prints with excellent packaging appeal.

Applications
Use for untreated and pre-treated polyethylene and polypropylene, especially for battery container. To ensure good adhesion, it must be activated by flame treatment. However, due to variations in substrates and also treatment levels it is strongly recommended that adhesion is checked prior to commencing a full production run.

Result Properties
Excellent screen stability, high resistant to battery acid, excellent gloss, fast drying finish, excellent adhesion level.

Drying Time

• Jet drying : 60°C,15-20 seconds.
• Air drying : 15-20 minutes.
• Convection oven : 70°C 1-2 minutes.
